Each summer Jason leads a team from Pine Mountain Kentucky to Pine Ridge South Dakota. Susanne Big Crow Boys’ and Girls’ Club is the destination. The club is the heart of activity for the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. During this trip, part of our team hosts basketball camps, tournaments, and awards banquets. The other team members conduct service projects such as painting and maintenance work. Our team will experience the annual Pine Ridge Pow Wow. Over 300 Lakota Indians in full dress compete in their sacred dance, song and dress. During the last two days of the trip the team will visit Crazy Horse Monument along with Mount Rushmore.
